**highlight of the week: Fall restore retreats**

This fall, Restore Retreats are creating intentional space for rest, connection, and renewal. From Mother–Son and Father–Son weekends to women’s retreats, men’s fishing retreats, and fly fishing experiences, each retreat is designed to help you step away from the noise and reconnect with God and others. SERVING OPPORTUNITY THIS SUNDAY

We are looking for a few additional volunteers to help put away tables and chairs following the Sunday service on August 9th. FMSC FUNDRAISER — AUGUST 26TH!

Join us for a special evening of music, food, and fellowship on Wednesday, August 26, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Ashwaubenon! Paul Evansen, who serves as Media Co-Chair alongside Vanessa Moran on our FMSC Partner Board, will once again perform a charity concert in support of our ministry efforts. The event will take place from 4pm-6pm, with music beginning at 5pm. Paul will entertain guests with favorite hits from the 1950s, 60s, and 70s. Bring a lawn chair, relax, and enjoy a wonderful evening with family and friends. The St. John’s team will be grilling, and concessions will be available through a free will offering. Mark your calendars and invite others to join you—we’d love to see the lawn filled for this memorable community event!

FMSC CHILDREN’S COLOR RUN

Kids are helping raise awareness and money for Feed My Starving Children (FMSC) in a fun way! Come to GBCC on Friday, September 18, and join us for our first Kids Color Run in hopes of bringing nourishing food to more children. Wear as much white as you can and prepare to have fun and get messy! $5/participant, registration closes one week before the race. Learn more and register here.

A SEASON OF TRANSITION

Over the past few months, there have been several changes within our Arts Department. Patrick Stiller (Worship Leader) and his wife, Andrea and family, have moved to North Carolina to be part of a new church plant, following what they believe is God's calling. Ben Crouse (Tech Director) has accepted a new position with Emplify Health, and Kate Cullum has stepped away from her role as Worship Pastor. Each of them has faithfully served our church and made a meaningful impact on our staff, volunteers, and community. We are deeply grateful for the ways they have used their gifts to lead others in worship and serve behind the scenes. They will each be greatly missed. Please join us in thanking Patrick, Ben, and Kate for their faithful ministry at Green Bay Community Church. We pray God's blessing over each of them as they begin this next chapter and trust that He will continue to use them in the places He has called them. As we move forward, we are grateful for the many volunteers who continue to faithfully serve each week and are excited to see how God will continue to lead and provide for our Arts Ministry.

Park play dates, diving in to the Bible, and joining us at church all earns kids stamps to go towards prizes to be won! Each and every child 2 years old - 5th graders can grab a Summer Passport if you haven’t already and start collecting stamps for a chance to win one of three great prizes displayed at our check in area! We can’t wait to share the summer with you all at GBCC!

**neighborhood gathering july 5**

On 4th of July weekend, we are doing another Neighborhood Gathering! Instead of gathering under one roof, we’re asking our GBCC church family to be the church in their neighborhoods — hosting or attending a Neighborhood Gathering right where they live. We will provide a teaching video to anchor your time together, but the real win is the conversations, connections, and relationships that happen with the people next door. We will also have conversation questions for after the message.

CONNECT TO COMMUNITY

This gathering is free to attend and a great first step in getting to know GBCC. Join us from 10am–11am. Come a little early and enjoy breakfast! You’ll meet some of our pastors, elders, and staff, get a simple overview of who we are as a church, and learn how you can get involved. We’ll also answer any questions you may have. Our hope is that you’ll meet new friends, catch a clear picture of our beliefs, and discover real ways to connect.

WEEKLY GENEROSITY REPORT

Giving is an expression of our gratitude and love for God and others. When we share what we have, we participate in building His kingdom and blessing those around us. As Acts 20:35 says, "It is more blessed to give than to receive." At GBCC we strive to live with open hands, reflecting God's heart of generosity in all we do. As we work together to fulfill our mission in Green Bay, we want to keep you regularly informed about our financial journey. Each week we will inform you of where we stand.

For the week ending July 30, total giving was $28,715 about $9,747 below budget.  As Winston Churchill once said, "We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give." When we give, we help build a community rooted in love, kindness, and selflessness, reflecting the very nature of Christ. Thank you for your commitment and passion for reflecting the nature of Christ in our church!
